I wish I’d been far more courageous and outspoken about the horrors of homelessness than I’ve been. I wish I’d seen this humanitarian catastrophe for what it is much earlier than I did. I wish I’d been far less collegial and far more verbally confrontational with homeless housing and social services personnel than I’ve been. I wish I’d told you more of the truth than I did.
